What are rural networks?
Rural networks are those where the distance between network users may be between 5 and 20 km. In such networks, lower frequencies are preferred to achieve the required coverage, and the propagation and path loss calculations are applied differently compared to in indoor, urban or suburban wireless networks such as for commercial WiFi or 4G deployments.
